Hitting the rim

Today I finished my 'Super Spinach Salad' from Trader Joe's, and I went to throw it out.  It comes with a good sized container filled with a mustardy salad dressing, which I don't use.  When I dropped the dressing container into the garbage, it hit the rim and fell on the ground, opening and making a big mess on the kitchen floor and my pants.  Then I went to go get some cleaning cloths in the garage, grabbed them, and turned around to find a trail of dressing all over the kitchen and garage.  Slick.  Luckily the wife is not home.
