I woke up at 6am to get ready to drive to an elementary school where I'd be speaking to 570 kinder through 5th grade students. Terrifying!
As I was about to shave, I remembered the new Harry's razor I got recently, which I hadn't opened yet, and which people have been raving about. I thought I could use all the help I could get, so I put my old razor down and went upstairs to fetch the new razor package. I opened it and admired the beautiful razor, and then I admired the beautiful shaving gel that came with it.
As I shaved, I was underwhelmed. The shave felt and looked just like any other shave I've ever done. I didn't see what all the fuss was about.
When I finished, I realized I had used the new gel but I was shaving with my old, regular razor. The new Harry's razor was on the sink, virgin before blind eyes.
So I left the Harry's razor for another day and decided to rely on my inner bravery to confront the youngsters.
